In my tenure as the Email Marketing Specialist, I was responsible for building, designing and executing subscriber-based email advertisements for this lakeside escape and any entity that fell under its vast umbrella from Golf and Spa to conferences and major events.
I elevated the brand presence by building on the existing visual foundation and wrote attention-grabbing subject lines, body copy, and CTAs to boost open and click-through rates. I was also responsible for maintaining the media library, from taking and editing photos to creating graphic overlays and simple animated gifs. My HTML and CSS background came in handy when testing display performance and debugging emails.
My success was measured by the trackable performance of each campaign. In a few short years, I increased the number of emails sent from less than a million to 10 million. Email became the Resort's most consistent and direct marketing strategy.
